Versioning

The Gusto API is now versioned. When a breaking change is introduced to the Gusto API, we release a new API version to avoid breaking existing partner applications. Developers may continue to use older API versions, or upgrade their application to use the newest Gusto API version.

  • Using this flow an employer can
    • Create the benefit with defined category
    • Add employees to the benefit
    • Specify the amounts and set any additional parameters based on the type of benefit
    • View all the benefits and enrolled employees
    • Edit each benefit at the company level (stop contributions or change the name)
    • Edit each employee on an ongoing basis (change amounts and block benefits next payroll)
