Updated Benefits flow: how partner-managed benefits are displayed and managed
We've improved how benefits are displayed and managed in the benefits
flow to prevent data conflicts and make it clearer who manages each benefit.
Partner-managed benefits: Benefits created through our partnership integrations (like Guideline 401k and SimplyInsured health insurance) now clearly show which partner manages them. These benefits are now read-only in our flow to prevent conflicting changes between our platform and the partner's system.
Company-managed benefits: No change. Benefits created directly by companies continue to work exactly as before, with full editing capabilities in the flow.
Below is an example of how partner-managed benefits are displayed. Each partner-managed benefit is labeled with the text βManaged by [Partner]β and in place of an overflow menu, has a tooltip with instructions for how to make changes to the benefit.
